How about Slang:
Medieval words not so much slang
and finally for the Regency reader, Edwardian words
Advertising and promotions resources—coming soon
Writers resources: where to go for the best secret stuff
Editors for hire: content, line, copy and proofing —
More than ever writers have a responsibility to readers to produce the best books possible. After spending the hours, weeks, months and in some cases years, with a manuscript it's nearly impossible for an author/writer to edit our own work to the standards our readers deserve.
We have had the privilege of working with outstanding editors in the past and are proud to recommend their services to you.
Mess of Geckos digital books is a small independent ePublishing company focusing on Mess of Geckos print and digital, audible and Print on demand books. Our print books are available online. We offer free digital books for review. Our best selling series are the work of Jessica McBrayer and Marik Berghs.
We sometimes exchange editing responsibilities with other writers whose work we hold in high regard.
There are never enough eyes when it come to reading, rereading, and reading once again—any manuscript you've seen so many times that you miss obvious problems. We shake in our boots over punctuation, a nasty search and replace effect, or the wrong use of a homonym, their, there, they're and then there is tense.
We also rely on beta readers, readers who receive advance copies to give another look over before the final launch.
We have a group of readers who like to be involved in the process, taking part in focus groups on covers, surveys on blurbs and of course read for reviews.
As we catch up with the release of our latest titles and we hope to interview our favorite characters, and itemize our pins on our pinterest boards related to our projects, catch up on blog posts...
